Chinas education systems produces not only world class scientist but also world class musicians like pianist Lang Lang. Young Chinese. musicians win entry exams at music conservatories world wide. Western youths don’t like to work as hard as the chinese students.
There is a long tradition of string instruments in China. The Classical Guitar is therefore a favorite instrument especially for Chinese girls (the boys preter heavy metal)
